Editorial methodology
How a problem becomes a Helpful Guide.
We separate topic demand, raw product evidence, editorial judgment, merchant facts, and publication approval. A score never publishes itself.
1. Validate a useful question
We define the practical problem, audience, search intent, topic evidence, and rankability evidence before selecting products. A topic does not earn a guide merely because one product exists.
2. Try the non-purchase fix
Every guide includes useful changes a reader can make before buying and explains what to look for if a purchase still makes sense.
3. Preserve the source trail
Internal research retains raw observations, timestamps, URLs, payload hashes, and provenance. Human scoring approval is bound to an exact evidence packet.
4. Score the evidence—not our enthusiasm
The 100-point framework weighs buyer intent, demand and trend velocity, search rankability, visual demonstration, commission economics, quality and return risk, content depth, publication-media confidence, and brand fit. Scores remain internal evidence objects.
5. Keep products subordinate to the guide
A commercial guide explains why each eligible find may help, its important limitations, who should skip it, and simpler alternatives. A useful guide may publish with no products when the evidence does not justify recommendations. Products never publish as standalone pages.
6. Separate references from publication assets
Public product pages and images may be recorded as provenance-tracked AI reference inputs. That does not automatically authorize publishing the unchanged source file. Generated outputs still require identity, variant, component, claim, quality, safety, deception, disclosure, and human review.
7. Gate claims, media, links, and publication
Unsupported first-person experience, missing publication basis, incomplete evidence, invalid affiliate tags, high-risk claims, fixtures, and absent human approval all block publication. Initial guides receive human review in full.
Corrections and updates
Send corrections to hello@rizzfinds.com. We review the source and update the evidence timestamp when warranted. Commercial relationships do not prevent limitations from being published.
